In 2019, Friendswood ISD and the Bay Area Alliance for Youth & Families partnered to help students and families of FISD through a variety of programs, one being FISD Cares. FISD Superintendent, Thad Roher and Alliance Executive Director, Amanda McLauchlin are committed to seeing all students and families thrive.
The Alliance-Friendswood is a community coalition serving Friendswood ISD by helping kids make good choices especially when it comes to drugs and alcohol.
In FISD, students are receiving a world-class education. But, we recognize some students have circumstances that are keeping them from reaching their full potential.
FISD Cares seeks to remove those barriers to success.
Whether its food insecurities or homelessness, FISD Cares is committed to helping the students and families of Friendswood ISD in need of assistance during challenging times.
We are partnering with community members, churches, businesses, and other organizations to meet the real, felt needs of our community.
We're a non profit organization and run on donations from the community. Sign up to hear from us about needs in our community and how you can help!
