The Alliance is a 501 (c) 3 and all donations
are tax-deductible.
Friendswood ISD campus counselors make referrals then Alliance staff work directly with families.
100% of proceeds go directly to help families.

We know it's hard for kids to focus on instruction with hungry bellies. FISD Cares seeks to make sure that every FISD family has nutritional food to sustain them.

While we cannot help with every situation, we realize that challenges can arrive and making ends meet becomes difficult. FISD Cares uses a screening process to help families in one-time situations with rent, utilities, or other barriers to safe shelter.

Back to School time can be very stressful for families who are struggling to make ends meet. FISDCares provides backpacks and all the school supplies for students referred by FISD Counselors.

The holidays can be so difficult for some of our families - and we would never want to see kids go without during these times! MustangSanta was designed to provide gifts for children during the month of December.

One thing we've learned is that the lack of child care for some families is a huge barrier to long-term and sustainable employment. FISDCares has provided child care for parents working during Covid as well as single parents whose job schedules don't align with school hours.
FISD Cares is a collaborative initiative between Friendswood ISD and The Alliance, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, dedicated to supporting families during challenging times.
Established in April 2020 at the request of FISD administration, FISD Cares addresses the tangible needs of students and their families, providing assistance with rent, food, clothing, and childcare.
Currently, we support 49 families and 127 students in our community.
Additionally, FISD Cares offers seasonal programs like MustangReady for back-to-school assistance and MustangSanta for holiday support.
