 In 2021, a trio of local Girl Scouts working toward their Silver Award recognized the need for accessible community support and took action by building and placing a Blessing Box at Fire Station 4 on Woodlawn Drive . To ensure the long-term impact of their project, the girls reached out to The Alliance and FISDCares for assistance in maintaining the Woodlawn Drive location.

Due to the success of the Blessing Box and the growing need in the community, FISDCares expanded the project by building and placing an additional Blessing Box at Bales Intermediate School—extending access to food and hygiene supplies to even more families across Friendswood.

For the past four years, MustangReady has supported Friendswood ISD students in need by providing backpacks, campus- and grade-specific school supply packs, and essential hygiene items—helping students start the school year prepared and confident.

This initiative is made possible entirely through the generosity of the Friendswood community. Your donations and support ensure that every student has what they need to thrive from day one.
