The ICM office and food pantry are both open at this time; but new policies are in place to protect their clients, office & pantry staff and volunteers. The office hours are Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm; and Friday 8:30am - 1:00pm; pantry hours are Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 1:00pm. The office door will stay propped open during client appointment times to avoid contact. The pantry will be delivering the donated items to the client's vehicle rather than have the client enter the pantry building. All required documents are being emailed ahead of time to our staff; rather than the transfer of paper documents during the client appointment.

Encourages self sufficiency by providing Emergency Financial Assistance to individuals in Clear Creek/Friendswood Independent School Districts.

The Salvation Army offices are working regular business hours. At this time only the evening meal has changed, the meal service program begins at 4:30pm, only 30 people at a time to ensure social distance in the dining hall. 

Provides food, clothing, rent and utility assistance, and emergency shelter to people facing hardships.

What is Christian Helping Hands (CHH)?
CHH is a non-profit  501(C)(3) organization, formed in 1983 by local churches in our area to help people in need by providing short-term assistance with basic needs.  Our goal is to help the less fortunate become more self-sufficient whenever possible.

What kind of help is offered?
CHH gives aid to people who need FOOD and clothing.  In other emergencies, CHH helps people with medicine, and overnight lodging, all on a limited basis, and as our resources allow.   For long-term needs, CHH refers people to the proper public and private agencies.

The treatment facility is open and providing services. However, ADA is restriciting access to employees only. The Texas City business office is open 8:00am - 12:00pm Monday-Thursday.

Provides licensed residential substance abuse treatment for women living in coastal Texas. Women return to their homes and families with the tools for living in sobriety.

Family Service Center is currently working normal business hours, but are limiting client appointments to stagger a physical presence in our offices and encourage social distancing. They are currently working on ways to provide therapeutic services remotely.

Enhances the potential for growth of individuals and families and to help people pursue healthy, independent, and fulfilling lives through the provision of counseling and education services.


 

NAMI Gulf Coast

NAMI Gulf Coast staff is working remotely. The HelpLine is available to outside calls from 9:00am - 4:00pm and will provide referrals to callers. Support meetings for families and individuals will be provided by conference call at the regularly scheduled meeting time. All outside education classes are postponed until further notice.

Provides support, education and service advocacy to families and individuals affected by mental illness.
